Try Tag Rugby are proud to announce details for our mixed & men's summer leagues beginning from June 25th. Leagues are taking place at Acton, Balham, Borough, Canada Water, East London RFC, Finsbury Park, Fulham, Highbury, Hoxton, Reading, Richmond, Shoreditch Park, Southfields (Wimbledon Park) & Wandsworth Town.

Summer Leagues - Further Details

Full information on each summer league can be seen at the bottom of this page. Please use the venue finder to find your nearest or most convenient competition. All leagues come with an active social scene, with players regularly returning to the official after match venue for post match food and drinks. This is a great opportunity to network and socialise with your team mates and opposition.

All leagues are seven a side (four males and three females on the pitch), other than Borough, Highbury and Reading, which are 6 a side (3 males and 3 females on the pitch, except Reading which is 4 males and 2 females). All summer leagues are played on grass other than Borough, which is an Astroturf surface. Matches last 40 minutes and kick off times are generally shared around amongst the teams. If your team has a preference for early or late kick-off times, please request this prior to the registration deadline.

The leagues vary in standard, ranging from those targeted at beginner to intermediate players, up to A grade leagues for experienced players and the Canada Water Thursday mixed Super League, for the best mixed teams in London.

Registration is open to whole teams, part-teams and individual players who'd like to be placed in a team. To register for any Try Tag Rugby league or event listed above please click on the following links:

If you'd like to register a part-team please email info@trytagrugby.com with details regarding the number of extra players you require. We will then quote you a price for a part-team and advise whether we are likely to have enough individually registered players to help you form a whole team. 

All team registrations are not confirmed until a deposit payment of £100 has been paid. For players registering individually, your place is not confirmed until the full registration fee has been paid. Registration closes one week before the respective league starting date.

Leagues will fill up quickly! Current teams have until June 11th to reconfirm your team place in your current league, by registering and paying the £100 deposit. After this date, your team is open to losing their place to a new team or team from another venue. Team registrations are taken on a first to pay the deposit basis. Don't leave confirming your registration until the last minute or your team may miss out!

Tag Rugby shorts must be purchased before taking to the pitch in all Try Tag Rugby competitions. These can be bought from Try Tag Rugby by paying cash at our venues or pre-purchased in our online shop for £12 a pair.
