Try Tag Rugby 13th Birthday Boat Party

Our annual River Thames Birthday Boat Party celebrates Try Tag Rugby and our wonderful community, and this year Try Tag Rugby turns 13!

Cruise the River Thames on a party boat equipped with a DJ and fully stocked bar, see the iconic landmarks on the outside decking or enjoy the dance floor.

The annual Birthday Boat Party will this year take place on a Saturday for the first time, allowing players from other regions a better chance of attending.

As many Tag players will tell you, the boat party is one of the best social events of the year and usually sells out in advance.

Capacity is strictly limited to 210 places per boat, and we have two boats, Golden Flame and Golden Sunrise.

The boats will each run from Westminster Pier and return to Temple Pier. Check-in will start at 18:30, boarding will be from 19:00, and both boats will depart at 19:30 prompt and return at 23:15. Please don’t be late, as the boats will not wait. Tickets cost £24 per person. 

Everyone regardless of age will need to have a valid form of ID on them. The dress code for the night is smart casual.

Please note: If you are no longer able to attend and wish to transfer/give your ticket to a friend, you are welcome to do so. Please however contact us so we can update our register. Please note, the ‘new owner’ will be required to provide the original ticket in order to board the boat. Please carefully check the boat name when booking as tickets are not transferable between boats once purchased. Come and enjoy a great social evening out with the Tag community. Tickets reserved for registered Try Tag Rugby players and their friends to purchase only.

COVID-19 and cancellations: Events will adhere to relevant Covid-19 guidelines at the time. Details of Try Tag Rugby’s latest regulations will be circulated before the event which all attendees must familiarise themselves with. If any event has to be postponed or rescheduled, players will have the option to carry over their registration or be refunded.
