With COVID-19 restrictions easing Tag Rugby can restart in Bristol. We have three weeks of play left for the Spring Seasons at Horfield and Lockleaze with titles up for grabs in both leagues. In April we move back to Clifton Down and start at Ashton Park for the Early Summer seasons.

Lockleaze Tuesday Mixed League

15 teams are playing in the Lockleaze Tuesday Mixed League at Lockleaze Sports Centre. There is one further league match to play before the semi finals on 7th April. With the Grand Final the following week the top two teams from each division will move forward to playoff for the title. Division A is tightly contested with Not so new team leading with five points alongside Yippee-try-yay and South Clifton Rabbitohs. Just a point behind are Outdoor Drinking, Taggy McTagface and Slippery Bastags. Outdoor drinking face South Clifton Rabbitohs in their final fixture in what looks to be the pick of the fixtures.

In Division B Nice Try have continued their good form from the Autumn season to lead with six points. Scum Tags are also on six points and meet Nice Try in their final fixture with the winner guaranteed to progress. Rag Tags also have six points and face Try Hard With A Vengeance in their final league fixture.

Horfield Thursday Mixed League

Over at Fairfield High School there are 8 teams in the Horfield Thursday Mixed League. 6 teams remain in the hunt for the title. Reigning champions Rag Tugby and One Legged Taggers currently lead the league on 8 points. The final week of league action will be crucial in determining semi-final placings ahead of the Grand Final on 15th April.
