Try Tag Rugby London Winter Registration Now Open

We can now announce London Winter League registration has opened, with leagues beginning throughout December & early January. The majority of our usual Winter venues are running with some additional Sunday mixed leagues and weeknight men’s leagues added since last year.

For any sold out Autumn Leagues continuing, current teams will be re-registered and have until 21-days prior to kick-off to reconfirm their place with the £100 deposit. For Autumn Venues finishing and leagues hence moving to different venues, these teams will need to register through the website. The specific arrangement for each league can be seen by clicking on the details below, all current teams will also be emailed.

Aside from the above, each league will have a priority window for teams who played in recent seasons. Outside of priority rules, all team registrations are on a first to pay the deposit basis. If you wish to use credit on your account for a deposit or individual registration, please contact us, stating which league you or your team wishes to register for.

Most Autumn Leagues were sold out. If you are looking to enter a new team and the league you are trying to join is full, please check back 21-days out from kick-off as registration may open then. Limited individual registration is open now for all leagues. Again if the league you are looking to join is sold out, check back within 7-21 days of kick-off as space may open up as requests from teams come in.

If another lockdown occurs, all teams will be credited for any missed fixtures and refunds can be processed on request.

Registration

Registration is open to whole teams, part-teams (groups) and players looking to join a team. For any leagues which don’t sell-out in advance, registration generally closes four working days prior to the league commencing.

Ringers & Dual Registration

As we’re now comfortable with our procedures around COVID-19 sanitisation & how they are working, we have decided to revert to normal rules for ringers. Dual registration is now allowed again at venues where two different categories run on the same evening, ie a mixed and a women’s league.

However please be aware that dual registration in two teams for the same league on the same night (i.e. two mixed teams on the same night) is not permitted unless approved by us. Full details and information on when a dual registration request may be submitted can be found here.

New players

New players are extremely welcome to sign-up for a Winter League and be placed in a team. For complete newcomers a full schedule of Free Taster Sessions is being held throughout London in early December. If you are a beginner many leagues will have beginner or beginner – intermediate divisions which are perfect for learning the game in your first season.
