Squads for the British & Irish Cup, which takes place on Saturday 7th September in London, have been named.
A number of players are set to make their international debuts, having trialled for the first time this year.
Buoyed by success at the 2018 Tag World Cup, Great Britain will be looking to clinch a first ever British and Irish Cup.
Played on an annual basis since 2013, the British & Irish Cup sees Tag Rugby teams from Great Britain and Ireland come together to play in multiple categories over one day.
Ireland are current holders of the British & Irish Cup following a win by the narrowest of margins in 2018 with both nations winning two categories each, Ireland the Mixed Open and Women’s Seniors with Great Britain winning Men’s Open and Men’s Seniors. The cup came down to a matter of competition points accumulated throughout the tournament, Ireland clinching the trophy with a total of 26 competition points to Great Britain’s 22.
