Try Tag Rugby Manchester SPRING and EARLY SUMMER Registration Now Open
*Update 01/03/2021 – Following the latest government guidance on Covid-19 and the route out of lockdown, sport is set to return from 29th March, including Covid-safe Try Tag Rugby leagues. League schedules have now been updated and can be found below.*
SPRING LEAGUES – If you had previously registered for a winter league that hadn’t kicked off, your registration has been carried forward to spring and you don’t need to take any further action. Winter Leagues that had kicked off prior to lockdown 3 have been rebranded as Spring Leagues and will resume when restrictions ease. There is still time to get involved in all leagues that have not already sold out.
EARLY SUMMER LEAGUES – The usual venues are returning along with an additional Tuesday league. Some summer league venues are TBC so if you wish to be notified when they go live then use the registration links to be added to the relevant waiting list.
There is a Priority window for teams that played in recent seasons. Outside of priority rules, all team registrations are on a first to pay the £100 deposit basis. If you wish to use credit on your account for a deposit or individual registration, please contact us, stating which league you or your team wishes to register for.
Registration is open to whole teams, part-teams (groups) and players looking to join a team. For any leagues which don’t sell-out in advance, registration generally closes four working days prior to the league commencing.
Ringers & Dual Registration
As we’re now comfortable with our procedures around COVID-19 sanitisation & how they are working, we have decided to revert to normal rules for ringers & dual registrations.
However please be aware that dual registration in two teams for the same league on the same night (i.e. two mixed teams on the same night) is only allowed if approved by us. Any players who wish to be approved to dual register in a league should contact us.
New players are extremely welcome to sign-up for a league and be placed in a team. If you are a beginner many leagues will have beginner or beginner – intermediate divisions which are perfect for learning the game in your first season.
If you want to try before committing, a full schedule of Free Taster Sessions is being held throughout Manchester in the lead up to each season.
