Players, referees, and staff took a chance to celebrate the year in style at the Try Tag Rugby London Christmas Party and Annual Awards on Friday at 26 Leake St in London.

Entertained by the band, The Dukes, who rocked TagFest London earlier this year, along with tunes from DJ Astech, a regular at Try Tag Rugby post-event parties.

A host of awards, as shortlisted by the Try Tag Rugby community, were presented in front of the partying crowd. Dragons were big winners on the night scooping a variety of awards including Organiser of the Year (George Goldie), Custom Kit Of The Year, and Most Social Team of the year. Dragons also claimed Most Improved Female Player of the Year which went to Rocio Garcia and Best and Fairest Newcomer of the Year which went to Polly Roberts.

Best and Fairest Team of the Year went to Turtles which also boasted the Best and Fairest Male Player of the Yearin Nick Wilkes.

Anita Snowden won a double with Best and Fairest Female Player of the Year and GB Female Player of the Year.Referee based awards include the Referee of the Year, which went to Tom Entwistle, Best New Referee was awarded to Natalie Guest, while Most Improved Referee was awarded to Stephen Tassell.
