Try Tag Rugby Coventry & Warwickshire are excited to be bringing Tag Rugby to the birthplace of Rugby this April.
Try Tag Rugby Coventry & Warwickshire already run popular Leagues in nearby Coventry (Monday) and Leamington Spa (Tuesday & Thursday) with nearly 400 people of all genders playing weekly.
The new league will be starting on Wednesday 26th April at The Rugby Football Club on Webb Ellis Road close to the centre of Rugby. The mixed adult league for people of all genders is open for registration to teams as well as individuals who will be placed on a team.
The first of two Free Taster Sessions took place on Wednesday 12th April, with a further taster scheduled for Wednesday 19th April. The fun and friendly sessions being an ideal opportunity for anybody who hasn’t played before to Give Tag A Try before the league starts!
Try Tag Rugby Coventry & Warwickshire licence co-owner, Alan Robinson said: “It’s fantastic to be taking Tag Rugby to the birthplace of the game. We can’t wait to welcome people along. Whilst Tag Rugby is a great sport for those who have ever played Rugby before, more than 50% of our players actually come with no Rugby background. No experience is needed, so if you are looking for a fun way to keep fit and meet people then come along and give it a try!”

Refereeing
Try Tag Rugby are also looking to recruit additional referees for the new Leagues. Refereeing Tag Rugby is lots of fun and can be a great way to earn some extra money.
