Marie Curie – Wear Yellow at Tag Week + Get Your Daffodil

by | Mar 9, 2018 | News

We recently announced Marie Curie, the leading charity for people with any terminal illness, as our Charity Partner for our Corporate Challenge Yorkshire event.  The Corporate Challenge Yorkshire event will be taking place on the evening of Thursday 12th April at Weetwood Sports Park in Leeds.  It’s a great opportunity to get your workmates together for a unique team building and networking experience whilst enjoying Tag Rugby and raising money for a very worthy cause. To find out more about the event and to enter a team please click here.

As well as getting a work team together for the Corporate Challenge Yorkshire event you can also help us raise money and support Marie Curie in one of the following ways:

Wear Yellow At Tag Week – W/C 12th March

Wear something yellow when playing your Tag Rugby Match during week commencing 12th March and make a donation into the Marie Curie collection container your League Organiser will have.  Why not even encourage your whole team wearing something yellow! The only condition is, the yellow item needs to be safe to play in and not hang down over your tags. All money collected will go to Marie Curie.

Marie Curie Great Daffodil Appeal

This March Marie Curie are running their Great Daffodil appeal to both help raise money and awareness of the amazing work the charity undertakes.  You may already have seen Daffodils appearing on shop counters over the last few weeks, but now you will also be able to make a donation and pick up your Daffodil from your League Organiser at your Tag Rugby venue.  Daffodil’s will be avalable from Monday 12th March. All money collected will go to Marie Curie.

Whether you enter a work team into our Corporate Challenge Yorkshire event, wear something yellow when playing your Tag Rugby match during week commencing 12th March or make a donation and wear your Daffodil, there are plenty of ways to help.  To find out more about our partnership with Marie Curie and the great work the Charity undertakes please click here.
