The UK Tag Nationals brings all the Try Tag Rugby regions together to battle it out to see who is crowned the UK Tag National Champions.
As this is a representative tournament, your selection into your region is not guaranteed. If you would like to be considered, nominate yourself now by registering via the links below. Application deadlines will be advertised locally. Check with local regional staff if you are unsure. Successful applications will be notified following closure of nominations in your region and no later than Tuesday 10th August.
Some regions will be holding trials to help managers select the teams. Although all players are encouraged to attend any trials being held in your region, people who do not attend the trials will still be considered for selection.
Teams will play in the 8-a-side format using Try Tag Rugby's extended rules. Mixed Divisions require a minimum of 4 males on the pitch at any one time.
Each region will be able to enter any of the following categories;
- Mixed Open (Squads of 6 male and 6 female)
- Men's Open (Squads of 12 male's)
- Women's Open (Squads of 12 female's)
Try Tag Rugby reserve the right to move players between categories where required.
Selectors and regional playing requirements/opportunities may be different to those for Great Britain. Playing for Great Britain in a certain team or position does not guarantee you will command that position at regional level.
Players will be eligible for their region based on the league they played in during the Early Summer or Summer 2021 Seasons. Only players that have played in one of these seasons will be eligible for the UK Tag Nationals.
NOTE: If you are eligible for more than one region, you should choose which region you would like to play for and nominate yourself for that region. Players should not nominate themselves for more than one region.
