Try Tag Rugby Yorkshire Summer Leagues – COVID-19
Yorkshire Summer Leagues remain open for registration whilst we await further information from the government as to when community sport can resume. Teams which registered for an Early Summer league have had their registration rolled into the Summer season.
Starting dates are fluid, but the summer season will finish by September 2nd for weeknight evening leagues (weekend leagues are more flexible). As we don’t know the starting date we have priced the leagues according to an estimated number of games. Pricing is always based on the number of league matches, so once we know the length of each season the price will be adjusted accordingly.
In the mean-time, teams looking to confirm their place should register and pay the £100 deposit only. Before the COVID-19 suspension leagues had been filling up quickly, so we recommend getting your deposit in ASAP, particularly when we get the green light to resume and have confirmed starting dates. There will be no priority window for Summer, so all team registrations are on a first to pay the deposit basis. If you wish to use credit on your account for a deposit or individual registration, please contact us, stating which league you or your team wishes to register for.
Registration is open to whole teams, part-teams (groups) and players looking to join a team. For any leagues which don’t sell-out in advance, registration generally closes four working days prior to the league commencing.
If you are a beginner most leagues will have beginner or beginner – intermediate grades which are perfect for learning the game in your first season. This time of the year attracts a large number of new players, so it is the best time to join a league, learn the game and meet some new people.
